Health Guarantee Policy

At AKC Premium Bulldogs, we are committed to providing healthy, happy puppies to our customers. Our Health Guarantee Policy reflects our dedication to the well-being of our puppies and offers you peace of mind when you welcome a new furry family member.

We provide a one-year health guarantee on all puppies sold. This guarantee covers specific health conditions and ensures that your puppy is free from genetic disorders that are common in English and French Bulldogs.

The Health Guarantee includes the following:

  • Genetic Health Issues: We guarantee that our puppies are free from hereditary conditions such as hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and other breed-specific genetic disorders.
  • Veterinary Examination: The puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption. This examination is necessary to validate our health guarantee. A copy of the examination report must be provided to us.

Conditions for Guarantee

To qualify for the Health Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  • Timely Examination: You must have your puppy examined by a veterinarian within the specified 72-hour period.
  • Proper Care: The puppy must be provided with proper care, including vaccinations, regular veterinary check-ups, and a healthy diet, as recommended by your veterinarian.
  • Ownership: The health guarantee is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Claims Process

In the event that your puppy is diagnosed with a covered health issue, the following steps must be followed:

  1. Notification: You must notify us within 14 days of the diagnosis. This can be done via email or phone.
  2. Veterinary Documentation: Provide us with a written statement from your veterinarian detailing the diagnosis and treatment plan.
  3. Return Policy: If the health issue is confirmed and covered under our guarantee, you may choose to return the puppy for a full refund or receive a replacement puppy.

Exclusions

The Health Guarantee does not cover:

  • Illnesses or Injuries: Any illness or injury that occurs after the puppy leaves our care, unless it is a direct result of a genetic condition covered by this guarantee.
  • Neglect or Abuse: Puppies that show signs of neglect, abuse, or improper care will not be eligible for the health guarantee.
  • Routine Care: Regular veterinary care, vaccinations, and preventative treatments are the responsibility of the owner and are not covered under this guarantee.
